Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Arrival: Transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to your hotel in Moshi.

Overnight Stay: Comfortable hotel in Moshi, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Moshi – Marangu Gate (1,870m) – Mandara Hut (2,700m)

Trekking Time: 4–5 hours | Distance: 8km
Begin your hike from Marangu Gate, trekking through lush rainforest.
You may spot Colobus monkeys and exotic birdlife.
Arrive at Mandara Hut for your first overnight stay in the mountains.
Overnight: Mandara Hut.

Day 3: Mandara Hut (2,700m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)

Trekking Time: 6–7 hours | Distance: 12km
As you leave the rainforest, you enter the moorland zone with stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Overnight: Horombo Hut, situated in a picturesque valley.

Day 4: Horombo Hut (3,720m) – Acclimatization Day

Descent Time to Horombo: 5–6 hours | Descent Distance: 15km
Around midnight, start your final push to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Reach Uhuru Peak in time for a stunning sunrise at the Roof of Africa.
After celebrating your achievement, descend back to Kibo Hut for a rest, then continue to Horombo Hut.
Overnight: Horombo Hut.

Day 7: Horombo Hut (3,720m) – Marangu Gate (1,870m) – Moshi

A long but rewarding descent back through the rainforest to Marangu Gate.
Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest.
Overnight: Hotel in Moshi.
