Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Day 2: Moshi – Marangu Gate (1,870m) – Mandara Hut (2,700m)

Begin your hike from Marangu Gate, trekking through lush rainforest.
You may spot Colobus monkeys and exotic birdlife.
Arrive at Mandara Hut for your first overnight stay in the mountains.

Day 3: Mandara Hut (2,700m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)
