6-Day Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrival: Fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
Briefing: Meet your guide for an orientation, check your gear, and review the itinerary.
Overnight: Hotel in Moshi.
Day 2: Moshi (1,400m) – Marangu Gate (1,870m) – Mandara Hut (2,700m)
Trekking Time: 4–5 hours | Distance: 8km
Begin the trek through lush rainforest with chances to spot wildlife such as Colobus monkeys.
Enjoy your first day on the trail as you hike to Mandara Hut.
Overnight: Mandara Hut, featuring dormitory-style accommodations.
Day 3: Mandara Hut (2,700m) – Horombo Hut (3,720m)
