Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Day 2: Moshi to Marangu Gate and Trek to Mandara Hut
Elevation: 1,800m to 2,700m

Time: 4-5 hours
Transfer to Marangu Gate for registration and begin your trek through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut. Enjoy dinner and rest for the night.
Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Elevation: 2,700m to 3,700m
Distance: 12km
Time: 6-7 hours
Trek through the moorland zone to Horombo Hut. Experience panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and prepare for the higher altitude.
Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Elevation: 3,700m to 4,700m

Day 5: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (Summit) and Descend to Horombo Hut

Begin your summit push in the early hours. Reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise, celebrate your achievement, then descend to Horombo Hut for rest.
Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate and Departure
Elevation: 3,700m to 1,800m
Distance: 20km
Time: 5-6 hours
Complete your descent to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificate and transfer back to Moshi for your departure or extend your stay if desired.
