Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. You’ll have time to rest, meet your guide, and review the equipment and itinerary.

Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Cave Camp

Elevation: 1,600m to 2,850m (5,250ft to 9,350ft)
Begin your adventure from Umbwe Gate, trekking through a dense rainforest and along steep ridges to reach Umbwe Cave Camp.

Day 3: Umbwe Cave to Barranco Camp

Elevation: 2,850m to 3,960m (9,350ft to 13,000ft)
