Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Relax and prepare for your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Moshi to Londorossi Gate (2,100m) – Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820m)

After breakfast, transfer to Londorossi Gate for registration and start the trek through the lush rainforest. You may spot some wildlife along the way. Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)

Leave the rainforest behind and trek across moorland and heather to Shira 1 Camp. Enjoy the open landscapes and stunning views as you make your way to camp.

Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,850m)

Continue across the Shira Plateau, one of the highest plateaus on Earth. The trail gradually ascends, and you’ll arrive at Shira 2 Camp in the afternoon, where you can rest and acclimatize.

Day 5: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp (3,960m) via Lava Tower (4,600m)

Ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This “climb high, sleep low” strategy helps your body adjust to the altitude. Enjoy magnificent views of the Barranco Wall and the surrounding valleys.

Day 6: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (4,035m)
