Day-by-Day Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You’ll be transferred to a comfortable hotel in Moshi for a pre-trek briefing and overnight rest.
Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Elevation: 1,800m to 3,000m | Distance: 10km | Time: 5-7 hours
Trek through lush rainforests, spotting exotic wildlife as you ascend to Machame Camp for your first night on the mountain.
Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Elevation: 3,000m to 3,840m | Distance: 5km | Time: 4-6 hours
The trail opens up to a breathtaking moorland landscape. Enjoy sweeping views of Kibo Peak as you make your way to Shira Camp.
Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
