Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Rest and meet your guide for a detailed briefing and equipment check.

Day 2: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
Elevation: 2,000m to 2,650m (6,560ft to 8,690ft)
Start your trek from Rongai Gate, trekking through the pine forests to Simba Camp. This introductory day is a gradual ascent, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful views.

Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp
Elevation: 2,650m to 3,600m (8,690ft to 11,810ft)
The trail gradually ascends through moorlands, with stunning views of the eastern ice fields on the crater rim. Arrive at Kikelewa Camp, nestled at the foot of Mawenzi.

Day 4: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp
Elevation: 3,600m to 4,330m (11,810ft to 14,210ft)
A shorter but steeper trek brings you to Mawenzi Tarn, located beneath the towering Mawenzi Peak. Enjoy the dramatic landscapes and take time to acclimatize at this higher altitude.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day at Mawenzi Tarn Camp

Day 6: Mawenzi Tarn to Kibo Hut

Day 7: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
